We have very few overheads as our services are based online.
What are the court fees?
The court fees are £380-£395, these are non-negotiable and the same charge will apply wherever you go to deal with your divorce, the only difference is that a high street solicitor may hide the charge amongst their fees and take a larger cut for themselves.
How long do we need to have to have been married for before we can get a divorce?
Divorce proceedings can commence after one year of marriage.
We were married abroad; can we still use your service?
Yes, as long as you or your spouse is domiciled and habitually resident in England or Wales you may use our service. However, there may be an additional charge to have your marriage certificate translated into English should it be in a foreign language.
How long will my divorce take?
Your divorce should take between three and six months to be finalised due to a mandatory waiting period from the Court. The processing time for a divorce will factor on your specific circumstances.
Will I have to attend a court hearing?
If you and your spouse agree on all aspects of the divorce you are unlikely to be required to attend a hearing. However, if the divorce is proceeding contested you will need to attend a hearing.
