You will not use the Website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions. It has been assumed that your case can be dealt with using our uncontested process. We will always aim to complete your case on an uncontested basis. However, should your divorce become contested or your spouse fails to co-operate with the process then we will advise you of alternative options available to you. Should this be necessary all additional costs will be notified to you and agreed before, being incurred by you.
All Court fees and disbursements are extra. The Petition issue fee is £300. The application for Decree Absolute is £40. The application for approval of a financial Consent Order is £40. There are other Court fees possible as well as other charges for disbursements like requesting a duplicate marriage certificate and swearing an affidavit with another solicitor. These will be notified to you as appropriate or upon request.
When you instruct divorce-solicitor.net we will be conducting your case on your behalf and will represent you in court when appropriate. However, additional costs relating to all or any attendance at Court is not included in our uncontested options. All additional work relating to attendance at Court will be the responsibility of the client. However, no additional costs will be incurred without proper notice and appropriate acceptance being made by the client.
Should you decline to accept additional service once advised by us, or you omit to request additional advice or service with respect to any issue that may detrimentally affect the outcome of your case then you accept full responsibility and liability with respect to the outcome of this.
The contents of the Website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision. All advice, proceedings and documentation relate only to the England and Wales jurisdiction.
You accept that with respect to any claim of negligence against divorce-solicitor.net will be limited to £5,000,000. Divorce-solicitor.net hold indemnity insurance up to this amount. Our insurer is BAH Limited.
Divorce-solicitors.net reserves the right to:
Change or remove (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice and you confirm that divorce-solicitors shall not be liable to you for any such changes or removal;
Change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such changes.
